Talking about shoes, gradually switched to all sorts of other topics (interesting places in Bulgaria, fishing, hunting, photos, etc.). Met and exchanged coordinates. Dimitar (chef company) was very interesting and sociable person. Dimitar talked about some interesting places near Haskovo and we decided to visit one of them - "Stone Mountain" or "Vkamenenata Mountain", which translates sounds like "Stone Forest".
This phenomenon is located near the village of Raven, and represents the remnants of ancient trees. Mostly we come across little pieces of fossils from the tree structure, but is still preserved and large enough copies. Based on the information that I found in tyrnete, these rocks are formed 25-30 million years ago, at a time when the area was exposed to volcanic activity. One version of the origin of the stone forest - a volcanic eruption, which resulted in the forest on the coast of the ancient sea was filled with lava. Part of it was burned, while others only partially charred without oxygen. And over time, voids were filled with silicon contained in the flowing waters. So it has turned stone trees. Unfortunately, "hemp" from the trees are destroyed each year erosion and willing to take it home with a piece of wood.
The path to the forest lies along the river, which the stories of Dimitar was white from being in the mineral. In our case, due to the long lack of rain, she represented nagromazhdeniya stones of various sizes, indicating the direction. In some places the water appeared as a weak streams or the like green pools. "





By the way, did not expect - in one of these backwaters found the crab:) Going to a place far enough, and under the scorching sun still cool and tedious. But suddenly came on, I am not afraid of the word - an oasis:) with a very clean and cool water turquoise. Wife was upset that did not take a swimsuit, which I laughed and said that within a radius of several kilometers and no living soul in general, random things in this life is not wasted in the morning the news was a report about nudist:)




I must say that just for the sake of this natural "pool" worth it to get there - an incredible thrill! In the deepest spot somewhere in the depth of 1.4-1.6 meters. Go after the water treatments was much easier. We got to the place where they found the first stone stump.
